Two:
#1 -- Geoff Sorensen took me to a two-day Paul Soldner workshop, and floated me $33 to buy one of the few workshop pieces (we all drew numbers for a chance to buy one of the Soldner pieces). That piece of art is still one of my prize possessions. That workshop left a huge impression on me. I still have a copy of Geoff's cone 9 stoneware clay recipe (kept safely inside the Soldner piece.)
#2 Classmate, Bruce, demonstrating (unsuccessfully) that an X-acto knife dropped from "only" 12 inches would NOT penetrate the epidermis.
Anything else interesting you have been up to!!!
My wife and I (Beth graduated 1980) were in the 1980 National Champion Cougar Band. We got married in 2003 (thanks in part to meeting up at the 2001 Conant Homecoming!!!) Today, we march in the Racine Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps, spending our summer weekends practicing and performing.
