Habitat for Humanity

This past June, Amy Mederich (Geography, Survey and Women's Studies) spent two weeks in the Dominican Republic building houses for Habitat for Humanity. Ms. Mederich did personal internet research to find the opportunity and traveled on her own. There she met many other people from across the country who worked in a town that had been ravaged by a hurricane two years ago.
