Fridays in the Faculty Cafe!
Visit Cougar Perk second semester Fridays in the Faculty Cafeteria between 7:15 am – 8:30 am to “perk” up your day! We sell delicious beverages and a variety of scrumptious baked goods. Check out our
menu for a complete list of goodies! Catering services
and delivery are also available.
Cougar Perk is joint venture between Business Education and Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) at Conant High School. Students enrolled in this year-long course have taken a Foods course and are now enrolled in
B224/H224 Practices in Entrepreneurship.
On the Business side, students learn about entrepreneurship; the process of starting, managing, marketing, and financing your own business. Students create a small business plan for a bakery/café that they actually put into practice second semester!
On the FACS side, students plan the menu and prepare the items for sale each week. Students learn about quality control,
mass production, presentation of goods, customer service skills, and the
food service industry.
THANK YOU Mr. Cannon, Mr. Trevino, Mrs. Ogurek and the entire CHS Faculty and Staff for your help and support!
Thank you to Eric Mills, Class of 2010, for the website!
