Help with Solfege
Solfege is a very useful tool for sight reading. Look at the following examples for help with this system.

| These are the basic solfege pitches. They go up the scale with each pitch according to the key signature. |

| As the key signature changes, so do the solfege syllables. "Do" always equals the same note as the key signature. In this example, this is F Major, so "do" starts on F. |
