College Scholarships

The following scholarships are based on HBCU's. If you do not find the college you are looking for, please see your counselor for help. They have tons of it downstairs waiting for you.

Here are some places to look. If you try to get too specific on these websites, they may ask you to join or fill out some type of form.

BlackVoices.com sends you to The College Board to look for scholarships. A quick survey gives you basic scholarships.

Education On-line has a listing of scholarship offerings by college. The list of colleges also includes non-HBCU's.

Hobson's College View gives nice info about specific colleges as well as lists their scholarships.

Financial Aid

Here are some financial aid tips for you. FinAid gives you tips on finding scholarships/loans. There is a long questionnaire that allows colleges to send you information, but there is a search engine if you choose to answer the questions.

The 2004 Colleges, College Scholarships and Financial Aid page has lots of different information and some specific info if for example, you are looking for an athletic scholarship. It also has resources for scholarship searches and lists colleges by state on the home page.
