Teens at the Wheel
Roadside memorials for teens killed in
driving accidents have become an all too familiar site in our communities.
This has a heightened impact on both our schools and families with young
people just beginning to drive. In the Chicago land area, 59 teens
became driving fatalities in 2006.
This past year the Chicago Tribune ran
a series on this subject throughout the year. We encourage you to look
at the series and become actively involved as we all search for solutions to
this problem that affects us all.
